Cleanest motel that I ever been too. Staff was super nice. Room were cozy n clean n flowed well
The staff at sundowner is fantastic. My wife and oldest daughter just recently stayed there. They were arriving late and I wanted to surprise them with stuff in there room for their trip so I had a walmart order delivered to the front desk. The staff took it from there. Set up everything in the room and even text me a picture to confirm everything was waiting for them. They went above and beyond to take care of there guests.
Great spot to stay. The staff is super friendly and helpful no matter the time or situation. Rooms are cozy. I did a fair amount of research before arriving. This is probably the best hotel in the area. Highly recommend
This is a great place to stay, centrally located in Sequim. The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly, and the pricing is fair.
We stayed here twice during the last week of August, 2025. We chose this place because of location and the way it fit our travel plans. We booked two rooms. Upon our arrival, Jimmy upgraded us to larger rooms because they were available. The rooms, while maybe a little dated, were great. Clean, quiet, spacious. cold AC (which was actually needed during this time) and well-equipped. And the location was very convenient to everything we needed. Two nights later, on our way back through this area, my husband and I decided we needed a good night's rest so we stopped here again and had the same room. We were not disappointed. I would recommend this motel, and I would stay here again.
Great family run motel. It had everything we needed for a stop to explore Olympic National Park. And its run by a really hospitable family which was accommodating to our needs.
The Sundowner in Sequim was a great choice for me as I was arriving close to 10 p.m. and just needed a place to crash for the night. It exceeded my expectations and the price was great, too. The room was clean and efficient and the shower had amazing water pressure - that was the highlight of the stay! The coffee machine had some kind of pods that made weak/bad coffee but I can overlook that. The young guy at the front desk was also a pleasure to deal with. I'll be back next time I'm passing through the area.
Would 100% stay again! Was nervous but no signs of the shower, toilet, or mold problems as described in the reviews. Was clean, as advertised, normal wear and tare. Nothing I wouldn't expect even from an older hotel (tiny paint chips & crack in tile, scratches on bathroom door) Amazing customer service! The owner was always available, extemely kind & accomidating to my disabilities (even asked the right questions for my service animal which I NEVER get at hotels so extra props there), and I got to witness his amazing interactions with his staff.
